ReplyDeleteFun sketch and colours. I like the idea of sending the card because a) it's always nice to get happy mail b) whats the point of making them if they just get chucked in a box c) we need to spread more joy and this is an easy way of doing it. I'm laughing a little cos I wrote a post last night addressing my tendency to be very slow at getting things in envelopes. Sometimes I make a card and it seems too say so and so would like this so I put it to one side to mail and that pile just gets bigger and bigger. This ties in nicely with my new resolution too wear out the postman. Hugz
ReplyDeletebeautiful sketch, awesome palette!
ReplyDeleteFabulous cards designers!
ReplyDeleteOh what fabulous cards!! I LOVE the fun sketch and the color challenge!!
ReplyDeleteSo fun to have a new challenge! I do send many of the cards I make, so this is right up my alley & I've been wanting to add more TE to my collection. May not have time this week, but I'll be participating soon!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the fun challenge! Your DT inspiration samples are gorgeous! I was inspired by your sketch and made a back-to-school card for my youngest niece (she's 6) using your Notepaper and Clipboard die. Hope you like it! I highlighted your challenge on my blog so you'll get more traffic. I'm hoping to be back again tomorrow with a card inspired by your gorgeous colours. Have a wonderful weekend!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun challenge! Love your beautiful sketch with lovely color palette! And all the DT's creations are very inspiring! So i will be back soon with my creation!
ReplyDeleteAnd congratulations on this new and fun venture!
I love this challenge idea and I hope I can play along often. I made my card for a special friend who I miss very much. We moved a year ago from the Midwest to sunny Florida and it's sometimes difficult to maintain relationships with friends. My card will brighen her day and mine too when I think of when she will receive it. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteWhat code do we use to link this on SCS? I am sending mine to my friend Janeen and her husband for their anniversary! :)
ReplyDeleteHi Chrissy! You can use SJC1 to link on SCS. :)
DeleteAs promised, I'm back today with my second card! This time I was inspired by your gorgeous colour inspiration. I made a fun shaker card for my oldest niece's birthday. She'll be 15 next month, and I know she'll get a kick out of the wacky cats on my card and the shaker element! I haven't mailed it yet but will do so about a week before her birthday in October. Sorry I didn't use any TE products on this card but I'm checking my stash for next time! Thanks for your inspiration!
ReplyDeleteI love the name of your challenge! I'll be sending my entry to a friend for her birthday at the end of this month.
ReplyDeleteI'll be sending my cards to my darling mom and the other to my little guy. He saw it and asked if he could have it for his birthday...how could I say 'no'?
ReplyDeleteI will be mailing my card to a dear friend who played in this challenge with me (Chrissy). It looks like she already left a comment, so hopefully she won't see this. It will be a fun surprise to send to her! :-) Shhhhhhhhh! LOL
ReplyDeleteThe second card I created will be sent to a gentleman in church - I won't look at Holly's card but I do see her ccomment! Bwahaha
ReplyDeleteI absolutely LOVE participating in challenges & I'm so happy you guys have such a great one too now! You'll definitely see me more often here =) And: The new TE release is just adorable - love it & wish I had more stamp sets from TE for the challenges to come!!!!
